Salad Preparation
- Place a 2.5-gallon Rubbermaid freezer-safe container nearby, with the lid removed.
- Chop all fruits and vegetables into manageable pieces (gliders can handle larger pieces).
- Weigh the ingredients using a gram scale and add them to the container.
- Stir thoroughly with a large spoon to mix.
- Cover the container and freeze.
- After 2-3 hours, stir the mixture again to prevent clumping. Repeat this process during feeding time and again before bedtime.
- Once frozen, scoop out the appropriate serving size (24g per glider) as needed.
