About Glider Tome

Sugar glider care generates a surprising amount of information: weights, diet changes, symptoms, medication courses, vet visits, cage history. Most of it ends up in notebooks, camera rolls, spreadsheets, and memory — and most of it is lost exactly when it would have been useful.

Glider Tome was built to hold that information in one place, for the whole life of the animal, in a way that a vet can read and a future owner can inherit.

• No advertising — your care records are not an audience to sell.
• No data selling — personal data is never sold or shared with third parties.
• No social comparison — there are no leaderboards, streak shaming, or public profiles.
• No medical claims — the app records; it does not diagnose or prescribe.

Records belong to the account that created them. Access is restricted at the database level, photos are served through short-lived signed links, and shared access exists only when you invite a partner. Deleting an entry retracts it rather than destroying the history behind it, so records stay honest.

Where we publish community-level statistics, they are anonymous, aggregate, and subject to minimum-cohort rules: a figure is only shown when enough animals and enough distinct households are represented, and it is suppressed entirely otherwise. We report practice, not causation — observational data cannot tell you what caused what.

Glider Tome is actively developed and shaped by real use. If something is missing or wrong, feedback from owners is what changes it.
