    Critter Love® Plus

    This diet is fed alongside a shared salad recipe.

    Recipe

    • 2 cups warm water
    • 1½ cups honey (use raw, unfiltered honey)
    • 1 tablespoon bee pollen
    • ¼ cup Critter Love® Plus supplement
    • 3 eggs (scrambled)

    Feeding

    For each glider:

    • 1.5 teaspoons of Critter Love® Plus mixture
    • 1 tablespoon of fruits
    • 1 tablespoon of vegetables

    Pair with one of the salad mixes below (24g/2 tablespoons per glider, typically 1 tbsp vegetables + 1 tbsp fruits).

    Preparation

    1. Cook Eggs: Scramble the eggs and set aside.
    1. Mix Honey and Water: In a medium bowl, dissolve the honey in warm water. Add the Critter Love® Plus supplement and mix well.
    1. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the scrambled eggs, bee pollen, and ¼ cup of the Critter Love® Plus mixture from step 2. Blend for approximately 2 minutes.
    1. Freeze Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a freezer-safe bowl with an airtight lid and freeze.

    Notes

    Additional Tips

    • Feeding mealworms in the morning before gliders go to sleep can help keep their teeth clean.
    • Critter Love® Plus is a direct substitute for Wombaroo HPS in the OHPW diet formula.

    • Frozen peas: 400g
    • Celery: 250g
    • Yellow wax beans: 350g
    • Frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans, corn): 400g
    • Frozen diced green peppers (or 2 medium green peppers, diced): 350g
    • Bok choy (chopped): 300g
    • Kale: 850g
    • Papaya (chopped): 900g
    • Frozen mixed berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries): 400g

    Salad Mix 2

    • Cabbage: 500g
    • Celery: 500g
    • Frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans, corn): 800g
    • Cilantro: 150g
    • Parsley: 300g
    • Dandelion greens (chopped): 300g
    • Watercress: 150g
    • Gala apples (chopped, skin on): 1200g

    • Green beans can replace yellow wax beans
    • Kiwi, mango, or melon chunks can replace papaya
    • Watercress or arugula can replace kale
    • Bok choy can replace cabbage
